BIOGRAPHY

GIGI ROCCATI
Director and screenwriter
Babylon Sisters, Roccati's feature film debut, screened at over thirty International Festivals including Rome, Pune, Trieste, Paris, Cine Sans Frontieres, and Cairo, becoming the image poster of the BFI London Indian Film Festival 2017, at the British Film Institute. Winning Audience Awards and Best First Feature was sold to major networks like Amazon Prime North America and Canada. An LFS, TFL and Berlinale Talents Campus Alumni, with his graduation short from the London Film School, Chloe Travels Time, Roccati won the Universal Studios Cinemaster Award 2005, an internship at the Universal in Los Angeles. Director of several documentaries, his work The Road to Kabul was awarded by RAI and the Ministry of Defense as Best War Documentary of Italian Television 2013, which led him to publish his first photography book with Contrasto Ed. Lucania - Tale of Blood, Land and Magic - is his second feature film.
